Thanks Jennifer. We have some people handing out flyers in the next week and we have a couple of signs that will be put up as well. BBW is supposed to notify customers via email, mail and publication in a local paper. Posting notifications, including safety notifications, on social media does not fulfill the requirements Set forth by the water board.

I’ve been hearing a lot of mixed feelings on the rate increase. Many are concerned the funds won’t be used where they’re needed most. If you do the math the rate increase over 2 years is only a tenth of the funds needed to do the BASIC corrective actions that were needed in 2019. I can only imagine how that amount has increased in the last 3 years.

This is why it’s important for people to come to the meeting. Hopefully these questions and concerns will be addressed.
