Is there any information as to the amount/information about this buyout? I find it interesting that BBW can't cover basic maintenance costs but can buy out a partner.
Still having had family associated with BBW could be potentially be a conflict issue whether or not they currently serve.
The owner of record was Jim McPherson. He is related to Bruce McPherson. Records show Jim McPherson was completely bought out of BBW last year.
I'm to understand that Mr McPherson used to co-own BBW with the Moore family. Seems to be a potential conflict of interest issue.
First off I want to make sure credit is given where it is due. Jimmy Panetta and Gail Pellerin are the ones who stepped up in all of this. They took the time to meet with members of our team several times and have been extremely responsive to the situation. We made it clear we hadn’t heard much from our supervisor so I’m glad he finally addressed the issue publicly.
We don’t have much information about how BBW responded in the meeting, only the in the letter.
I am so glad to see this newsletter and so thankful for the great support from the County and Bruce McPherson.
I was not clear from this on the outcome of the meeting on March 14 between BBW and the State Resources Control Board to seek the voluntary cooperation of BBW in having a receiver appointed. Do we have any other communications or clarification on that?
Paragraphs 6-8 appear to infer that perhaps BBW is not willing to voluntarily agree to the appointment of the receiver and that the State Resources Control Board will need to go to court to make this happen. Based on the overwhelming violations and gross negligence, that would really be a shame for all parties involved and waste a lot of time.
