Here is the response from SLVWD to the letter sent requesting their consideration for a merger. Thank you to those who took the time to add their names. We need to continue to advocate for the survival of our water system, which includes petitioning our representatives at the county, state and federal levels to help with funding to resolve the situation.

Dan, there are regular meetings/ discussions between the receiver and the involved agencies. I definitely see more people wanting to get involved. We just need to keep people informed and if there are opportunities (such as the letter to SLVWD) where people can help, we need to make those available.
Hi Shandra, Thanks...I hear what your saying, but we've been saying this for about 2 years and I still don't see us banded as community. I see maybe 10-20 people actively doing anything relative to our water predicament. I wish all of the customers would see this! Any ideas how we can better unite and push for a seat at the table when these discussions are happening? Also, not sure what discussions you're referring to, but whatever they are or may be, folks are likely not aware.
Dan, we have also been lobbying our representatives for funding. We need to unite as a community and continue to advocate for ourselves by writing letters, staying informed and pushing for a seat at the table when these discussions are happening.
Thanks for sharing. Seems the Receiver is lobbying government representatives for funding. What can we do as customer ratepayers beside continue to ration and report leaks...?
